We begin the Sound Healing Session looking at your intention and desired outcome for exploring sound; both creating and receiving it. We will also use the Coaching Life Wheel process to help determine the area of focus for the session - aiming to uncover that facet of your life which needs healing and strengthening. The aim of sound healing is ultimately to use the power of sound to amplify awareness of the 'voices' in our head that both support and deplete our wellbeing and ultimately transform the relationship we have with them so that we feel more energised, inspired and capable of living joyfully.
Essentially we are embarking on a journey together to uncover the negative and positive familial and cultural programming in 'your story of life' so that you can access greater freedom in your thought and feeling processes. We can begin to challenge limiting beliefs and thought forms by suggesting that they are just part of the story rather than the actual truth. Using vocal and acoustic sounds we will aim to release tension and relax the nervous system and then start to rewire the brain with nourishing new neural pathways.
Using vocal sounds such as chanting, affirming suggestions & toning can help release emotional blockages and increase energy flow providing renewed mental clarity, a reduction in stress and tension and generally an enhanced sense of wellbeing.
